A bit about who I am...

After graduating from Coventry University in 1990, my first job in the industry was as a Quality Control Officer with Guinness in London. Some would say that was the perfect job and I should have stayed there for the next 34 years! However, being from South Wales originally, I was enticed to return to the area and work for the then Whitbread plc (now AB InBev) at the Magor Brewery. I worked at Magor for 17 years progressing from the laboratory, through various technical packaging roles and onto the brewing department. I eventually ended up as a technical brewer looking after projects ranging across the whole of Europe amongst other things. When I left ABI, I worked for Coors in Burton for a couple of years helping to build a World Class Manufacturing department and overseeing capex projects. In 2009 I left to work at Universal Beverages in Ledbury helping to commission and run a new start up business; milling, fermenting and packaging cider products. After being taken over by Heineken UK in 2011, I joined the Supply Chain Support department and progressed through a number of roles including Value Engineering, Product Development and latterly Consumer Care and Regulatory Compliance.
